Contract Type: Detailed Engineering Design
Our project at Pittong, Australia, involved expanding the kaolin plant capacity from 25kTPA to 60kTPA, significantly enhancing the facility's production capabilities. Utilizing Building Information Modelling (BIM) workflow, we improved design efficiency and enabled our client to visualize the plant before construction, facilitating informed decision-making on processes and workflows.
Our scope of work included:
- Civil & Structural Design to ensure a robust and sustainable foundation and framework for the expanded plant.
- Mechanical and Piping Design to optimize the plant's operational efficiency and streamline the kaolin production process.
- Electrical and Automation Design to integrate with PLC system to enhance productivity and reducing operational costs.
- Preparation of Tender Documentation for the above packages, enabling local contractors to bid on the project and ensuring a smooth and competitive procurement process.
This project highlights our expertise in the mineral industries and our commitment to utilizing innovative design technologies to deliver efficient and effective plant expansions.
